Collagen is one of the many staple items in my pantry and an important nutritional supplement for pregnant mamas. In general, I usually recommend consuming whole foods before supplements, however, I am also an advocate for "what works". Therefore, if it is a matter of supplementing vs. being nutritionally deficient, I suggest using supplements.
